You got a one day ban for direct personal attacks. Once again: people complaining about .ml “censoring” them are always just people mad that the rules got enforced on them when they’re used to the mods giving them a parse for having the same politics
Thank you for the kind words and the tip!
It seems like the comment was removed because it broke Rule 2: “Be respectful, especially when disagreeing. Everyone should feel welcome here.”
I’m also still banned from that community - presumably it was a 3 day ban and not 24 hours.
I literally had a comment removed and was soft banned from World News for suggesting you had an alt account with no explanation why.

You’re wrong, it was for bad-jacketing which currently is not actually in the rules for lemmy.ml or that News community.
I did not make any personal attacks, but I have seen a lot on here which do not get removed.
Ah huh. You can play dumb if you like.
I am pretty curious as to how you’d know more details about my comment removal and ban than I do.
It would be pretty unethical if you had access to a mod account.
Because I can read the modlog, genius.

You’re correct: it was not a 24 hour ban: I misread it because it happened to have 24 hours left when I checked it.
You said it yourself: for suggesting that he had an alt account. That could get you a ban on dbzer0 as well, in that case for “bad-jacketing”:

Thank you for the explanation, it might be worth adding bad-jacketing to the rules or code of conduct.
Is dbzer0 somehow related to lemmy.ml?
No, dbzer0 is its own thing. What they have in common is they’re both run by socialists.
Does being accused of being a bot qualify as bad-jacketing?
The dbzer0 admins seem to think so, from what I’ve seen, but you’d have to ask them.
The point is, unless you have the receipts to prove it, don’t call someone a bot.
I can get behind that, thanks again for clarifying things.
