But why is his mom taking a “selfie” for him? I get he doesn’t have any hands free because of how he’s flexing. But then why wouldn’t you just have the other person take a picture of you directly, rather than through a mirror?

Maybe his mom was in the kitchen and he called her in to the bathroom to take the “selfie” but she was cooking shrimp, so she put it down on the bathroom counter? But then he has his own empty container looks like he is ready to fill up.

C is kind of a bad example though, as Java should mostly be platform independent. I’d think you should be able to unpack the package and run the Java code, though you’re probably missing some entry point / handles to resources, which could be provided by some kind of container, like an emulator. But then that’s not really “native”.

One might guess men would have better hearing as they were often the hunters in our evolutionary history. But maybe women who would take care of children and the camp needed to be more aware of incoming dangers, for which good hearing would be an advantage.
