This entire situation reminds me of a scene in the movie all quiet on the western front (bare with me), at the end of the movie the German general basically says that his father’s had their war and now it’s his turn.

I wish I could believe that this is all Trump’s fault, he certainly is the locus of the current issues.

However I do feel that he isn’t alone, he’s supported, even placed in his position by many that seem to believe sentiments similar to that German general.

As long, of course, as they are left unharmed.
