I have heard farenheit defenders point out that we’re not water - that farenheit cares about the temperatures that humans care about

(It routinely goes to 45 here, so 50 is a hot day surrounded by pavement in the sun.) The -50 came from living in the high arctic. One day only, ever. But -40 was pretty normal.
