I am not a fashion icon by any stretch, and generally choose my clothes based purely on comfort. When I’m having a hard time with picking something that will make me “feel good,” switching to “What will give other people just a little chuckle?” always works for me.
If a dapper outfit will draw attention, so will a silly one. And the silly one gives me more options with what to do with any attention I do get, because then I get to be silly, too.
Flip the script and wear the stupidest thing you can get away with at work.
I just ended up with what was on top of the pile, sadly.
