Try online play my fellow, there’s literally millions of people looking for players to join their games

I most often go to a discord server where I like the vibe, find their #ttrpg/#tabletop/#rpgs chat, and post something to the effect of “anyone looking for a player? Here’s my availability (TIMES AND DATES WITH TIMEZONE)

Been in a game for 3 years that way, and been hosting a game for 1+½ years that way.

Only issue online play tends towards is a “Party of Theseus” where over time people have to leave from work/school/illness, and it’s so easy to replace people, that the game doesn’t end there, but instead just changes who the players are. The one I’m hosting has only 1 original party member, and has changed members 3 times, the one I’m playing is the same. Never short stay though, like 6 months minimum on average

I’ve never used it, but I have also heard good things about https://startplaying.games/

not done coriolis (yet), but free league solo rules for their games have been extremely good in my experience, for both one ring 2e and forbidden lands i never had to break out mythic gme even once

    Looks cool!

Just a suggestion: If you do want to find people to play with, you should try meetup.com, I met my RPG group there, and we’ve been playing weekly for almost 20 years now.

Second this, I’ve had success in the past. There’s also sometimes gaming guilds where for a small fee you get access to a bunch of minis, space, and sometimes a dedicated gm or players. Relatively easy to find those on Google maps
