Energetic music in general does it for me.
Songs like Old Hat (Harvey Danger), Brother John (Blues Traveler), 8:02PM (For Squirrels), etcetera.
Though songs I associate with warmer times also tend to work for me.
Don’t know if anyone else is like that, so I don’t know how helpful this is.
Don’t know what service you go through or where, buty parents have had the unfortunate pleasure of recording some things (don’t remember what because I don’t pay attention to the TV often anymore of I can help it) through Xfinity and have fast forwarding through the small commercial breaks feature disabled.
I don’t watch it, but I definitely second hand consume it because my parents still watch cable. I don’t really have a choice either since most every night I’m helping cook dinner while my dad watches his nightly reruns of MASH and Emergency (unless it’s something else for a change). The ads aren’t extremely unbearable because they’re aimed at middle-aged to elderly people like my dad, but I don’t care for them.
I personally don’t mind sarcasm online in text form because without that /s I might not even know you’re being sarcastic since my sarcasm meter is set to slightly above autism mode due to practice.
I haven’t seen things that’ll blow you away with how weird they are. Just things like old antique standing doll figure things or the odd looking mug.
Coming out of left field, I’ll have to go with the number 22. Absolutely hate that number to death. Used to show up all the time when I was growing up, so I’ve learned to be a 22 hater. I’ll go to war with that number and nuke it to death before admitting it’s a good number.
I personally view hardware as the devil, so we’re kinda opposites in that regard.
I’m only in my mid-20s and sometimes feel pretty damn old. Proper body care is important. Don’t be pretty lazy and fairly sedimentary like me.
Mileage will vary. I have gotten a lot better when it comes to tech (mainly software) in the past 3 years, as someone who is only in the middle of his 20s.
After last night, most certainly I wish I took French in highschool so I could be taking French now in college. Just to move out of the USA and to greener pastures like Switzerland. Haven’t heard any bad news about them going fascist yet.
They’re a group of 4 people who play games together, but aren’t the super energetic and annoying type of content creators. You know the type I’m talking about. Plus, Stumpt usually seems to play a lot more indie games or every once in a long while anymore they may go back to m!neceraft for a mod pack.
As long as they’re only a minute or two off, I don’t mind as much. Especially since I mostly use my desktop/laptop/phone/other Internet connected devices most of the time if I need accurate readings.
I’d love to see 沙耶の唄 (Saya no Uta/Song of Saya), a pretty mildly disturbing visual novel, as a short animated couple episode series. I’d love to see how they animate how the main character sees the world with his meat vision.
I know Halloween is technically over for pretty much anyone, but I personally really enjoy The Evil Eye and The Hideous Heart by Alan Lee Silva. It’s a string orchestra piece that if I remember correctly is based on The Tell Tale Heart.
KDE Plasma. I am not good with making edits/tweaks to desktop environments and really like how MX has it set up.
Base stat total. I really don’t care too much for all these different acronyms, but I watch a fair bit of pokemon challenge content so I hear it more often than I care for.
Results do vary, but if we’re talking that universal vocal remover, it definitely seems to be a competent enough program.
As a college student, best experience I’ve had is just generating stories that you can easily tell are AI written by use of specific language.
Second best was when I tried taking pokemon from older generations, taking their BST, telling an AI (perplexity) that I wanna give them gen 5 BST, providing a spreadsheet with all gen 5 pokemon w/BST and each individual stat, and using whatever it gives me as a baseline for making BST edits.
Otherwise, I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of AI since I don’t have many uses for it myself.
Compared to other Chinese donghua I’ve seen in the past, the show definitely feels a little more unhinged. Most things I see today are a lot more average, in my opinion.
I don’t see many people ever really talking about them at all outside of fans, but Krosmaga and One More Gate from Ankama.
Krosmaga is a deck builder autochess like game (with something like 9 or 10 different classes/dieties with different abilities to build around, alongside a bunch of non-specific cards any class could use in their deck). Place summons/spells to protect your Dofus (dragon eggs, to simplify what they are) and destroy theirs. Matchmaking is either play against computer, who randomly selects class and gets default deck, or just flatout random player. Don’t think there’s any selective matchmaking, sadly.
One More Gate is a short enough roguelite game where you accidentally destroy a portal and have to fix it by beating bosses in new areas, usually after multiple failed runs. Has meta progression, which I personally am not the biggest fan of.
