I don’t like that solution because that means Huffman walks away with a golden payday instead of losing it all.
Those analysts are idiots. Arkham Asylum is like a 10 hr game, and once you collect all the riddler trophies, which takes maybe another 2 hours, thr only thing left to play is the endless ground “how high can your combo go” fights. Of course people put it down after they finish the main story, the game is completely spent.
If the bigots are hating Assassin’s Creed and it makes news, then that means it’s officially good. If it was bad, thr bigots don’t make news since they get drowned out by everyone else saying it’s bad. It’s my new metric for whether or not something is worth watching/playing.
You must not have checked any financial news lately…
They’re in the middle of a board election, all members get a vote. The union endorses none of the nominees, and suggests you vote for “none of the above”.
Maybe there’s a feedback loop. “Based on my experience with how this hospital manages IT, my household won’t make the same mistake!”
It’s a common trope in videogames to make a boss fight’s weakpoints pulse a different color to make it clear you should shoot there.
Who maintains uutil? Presumably it’s not GNU?
Yes, as well as how Elon owns Tesla.
In the past 10 years, we watched electric cars go from the Utopian dream to a force for corporate evils to control you. What mental gymnastics are you doing to conclude that fusion would be totally different?
Conspiracy theories are a mental health problem, not an information problem. When Obama was in office, there were lots of conspiracies about the oligarchic deep state. Now, an actual oligarch is running the country and essentially self-appointed himself in a position where he can remove any dissent against him, but conspiracy theorists have been quiet about it.
Conspiracy theorists invent things that aren’t real because being “in the know” is exciting, not because of the actual information they may or may not be receiving.
Control and Doom Eternal are the only exceptions to this rule I’ve played, but they are very much the exception.
Step 1. Turn on ray tracing
Step 2. Check some forum or protondb and discover that the ray tracing/DX12 is garbage and gets like 10 frames
Step 3. Switch back to DX11, disable ray tracing
Step 4. Play the game
That’s just private-sector efficiency taking control.
Before he died, he did say it was one of his biggest regrets.
Don’t forget that many foods have been designed to be too dry without the premium sauce. A local burger bar by me charges $2 for mustard on a burger that would otherwise be completely dry.
An 8 million dollar research program? Wow, that’s so efficient! We should honestly be asking their PIs how to deliver on that kind of budget to learn from them.
No, this will be the AI that ignores your content and just spits out sponsored content. AI doesn’t really have to be involved much, but if it is, Google doesn’t have to pay up when you file a class action lawsuit for misleading content because they can say “It’s not our fault, thr AI did it.”
2 oz vodka because much of the time, he was a spy with Russian adversaries and he wanted to blend in, also note that he doesn’t specify which vodka because he actually doesn’t care. 1 oz Gordon’s because beneath all that he’s a true red blooded Brit and he’ll always proudly drink British gin. Lilet Blanc because it’s not his money and he’s surrounded by wealthy people so he might as well buy the most expensive vermouth in the world. Shaken not stirred because he wants the drink to be cold, causing him to drink more slowly, and because it will water it down, meaning he will appear to be drinking more than he actually is and people will underestimate him. I can’t figure out any obvious subtext for the lemon twist, but it is a very classy way to have a martini. Call it a Vesper to memorialize his first love, and emphasize that he doesn’t and can’t have a life outside of being a spy, he’s condemned to this world.
The Vesper is the best fusion of lore and a cocktail you could ever conceive and will never be topped.
