Because I want to use the cryptocurrency for what it’s actually intended? Like private, decentralised transactions? If you think one needs to justify the reason for using privacy tech you might be in the wrong community

EDIT: I suppose it should be alright if you mention in your privacy policy that if you interact with other instances their privacy policies apply as well.
