Starting ones self on fire is a suicide attempt, regardless of political motive. This isn’t the same as sky diving or even trying to see the Titanic in a carbon fiber pod, this is pure and simple, self immolation to death that failed, so far.

They were suicidal, and now they’re trapped.
I get around $120 a week to sell my plasma in the middle of the US at a BioLife center. Payment varies a little depending on the center you go to and various promotions, but it’s usually pretty close. It’s about 2-3 hours a week commitment.
In college, the money was necessary, but now I do it for extra side cash. My wife and I own a home, two vehicles, and are doing well, so I don’t need the money. I do it to supplement non budgeted items for fun, like weed, one or more snowboarding trips to actual elevation, and bass guitars and bass guitar accessories to name a few. Could it pay more? Probably, but I don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off for the time I’m giving.
I used to double dip, and do my hourly job while donating, which got me out of the office earlier, and got extra money. Now I’m salary and have meetings and shit.
Over the last 4 days, I went from not thinking about this song for a long time, to learning it on guitar and bass, to finding out the bassist is leaving Kansas, then crossing this meme. The universe oddly aligns in the weirdest ways sometimes.
I also learned that it’s actually named, “Carry on Wayward Son”. There’s no my in the title, just the lyrics. Never knew that one.
If you can’t miss hours in the 24 hours social media cycle, you should probably cut back your exposure my dude.
Same. Probably about a month ago there was an Nvidia driver and I think Wayland update that took it from unusable on Wayland to quite stable.
SLAMMED em good!
Being the only person on one side of a conversation doesn’t necessarily mean you’re in an echo chamber. It could also just mean that you’re wrong.
This is a tough area for me. I think someone should be able to make a living researching and creating drugs. If that’s all a company does they have to make money somehow. Admittedly, I have not put much thought past that, so there may be a simple solution. Research grants and other funding can pay salaries for a time, but that’s a static income. Idk, I’m interested in how this would work without some amount of markup.
Unless profits means everything past salaries and stuff, then I do mostly agree. However I think there has to be allowance for cash on hand and further investment in infrastructure and all those other fun things needed to run and grow a business.
This is the reason I hate when people use the “recoup” argument. If anyone takes any free money to do research, then that isn’t an expense to that company. If I start my own thing, and use my own money to cure cancer, then I get to set the price to recoup my own losses. If the citizens paid for it through taxes or donations, then it should be cost + % profit. 30% is very fair.
The words on the case are dumb, and OP’s question is valid, but I hate how the question was asked.
You’re not the first person that unnecessarily censors words, you’re just the current one that I’m calling out. Other people do it with “Reddit”, for example. I think it’s just childish and poor communication. I just want people to say what they mean instead of this. Honestly, regardless of your or anyone’s point, if you can’t use your words, I immediate write whatever you have to say off.
You don’t have to like Google or Pixel, but we’re all adults here. Grow up and use your words like an adult. JFC, you’re not advertising for them, you’re asking a question about it.
Google Google Google Pixel Pixel Pixel
See how hard that was? Hell, you can even follow it up with, “Google Pixel phones suck and Google is a terrible company.” Censoring words for no reason is so fucking childish.
Doing something that will almost assuredly kill you is a suicide attempt.
