I stopped reading and lost all interest after the reporter wrote “underage women.” Nobody interested in honesty uses that phrase unironically.

It’s ludicrous for a professional journalist to claim that something, anything, could be “confirmed” on the basis of Donald Trump’s say-so. Dude lies every time he says anything more than “My name is Donald Trump.” How fuckin’ gullible can Reuters be?

My brother just had his prostate removed, can’t eat or leave his apartment for a week, and he’ll probably never have a full-on erection again. My wife had to do dialysis three days a week, which left her weak and ruined after every session. A friend of mine is in pain 24/7, and has been for decades.

I am the luckiest fucker on earth, to have good health, and I’ve never done a damned thing to deserve it. For 50 years I ate almost nothing but crap food, and I’m flabby and never exercise.

Ain’t no justice in this life. Ain’t much life if you don’t have your health.

Can dems stop banning guns?

Fear of Democrats banning guns is a long-time Republican and NRA talking point, but bogus. I sometimes hear Democrats (ie, ordinary people who vote blue) call for banning guns. The number of elected Democrats in any office, though, who propose banning guns, is very near zero, and that number becomes vanishingly smaller for higher officials, such as members of the US Congress.

I need this to be a mini-series on Showtime.

Once that’s their habit, it becomes easy to also ignore things more urgent and real than religion.

The Anti-Defamation League, a US-based pro-Israeli group which monitors anti-Semitism and hate speech, has described Musk’s gesture as “awkward” but did not say it was a Nazi salute.

That’s a bit of bullshit. The ADL said specifically that it was NOT a Nazi salute. Which is the end of the ADL, for me. They’re simply not credible as alleged opponents of anti-Semitism.
