Marxist Leninist aren’t communists. Or they wouldn’t be Marxist Leninist. They do however like to cosplay as communists. Often naming things that aren’t communist Communist. While I think the general proletariat were all aspirationally communist. Their leaders and the Vanguard party most certainly were not.

Lemmy as a whole is pretty staunchly left and tolerant generally. Looking for things flagging themselves left here. Implies looking for the left of the left. Which ultimately leads to circle jerking and edgelord virtue signaling. It’s a bad time. Left can mean different things to different people. Drasticly so. If you consider yourself “left” look into some of their philosophies and see what resonates. Then look for communities based around that. You’ll likely have a much better time. And learn things in the process. Win win.

Mine is pain by boy harsher. I like boy harsher. But the frequency that it comes up is uncanny. Though on the whole the algorithm does do fairly well for me and I have quite eclectic taste. Punk, Post Punk, goth, electro swing, horror Punk, Psychobilly, chap hop, EBM, EDM, darkwave, new wave, all the other wave wave, classic rockc, metal, rockabilly, etc.

But for me. YT just has way more of what I listen to. And one of the nicer things is I can switch between regular audio or music video on appropriate devices.

Yes would have been interesting to see if Tirana’s character got a little more development had Lisa and Doc not split. But she seems to be doing well and is enjoying her work in film out there in New York. So it’s all good.

But yes the rogues gallery on that show was always one of my favorites personally. The Thin White Duke as the sovereign complete with a Klaus Nomi/Iggy pop cameo in the second season finale I think it was? And all the other absurd villains and heroes they just shucked out left and right. Not to mention 21 absurd story arc.

100%. I was there from the original airing of the pilot episode through the last 22 years of multi-year breaks between seasons.

LOL a couple years ago one of my closest friends who happens to be about the furthest away from me of any of them. Shot me a message asking me to guess who they were having lunch with. I had no idea. But it turned out that she had bumped into Lisa hammer and they had been hanging out a bit. They both live up in New York near the Bronx. I may have gotten some signed Triana swag out of the deal LOL

I was literally mentioning that to people yesterday too. Unfortunately I think it’s a matter of when not if.

Then tax or seize their wealth. The loss of subsidies will specifically hurt the poorer much harder than the wealthy. The wealthy will just push their increased burden from loss of subsidies off onto the poor like they always do.
