It depends on the country I think? We have them too, but we don’t have road tolls. They’re used to monitor traffic and actual tracking if the police is looking for a specific licence plate in relation to a crime here.

Did you even read my original comment? As I said, drinking alcohol around children is perfectly fine and normal…needing it to enjoy it, like several people mention or hint at ITT, is a problem.

Have you? Because this attitude is something I only see from people that either don’t have kids or spend any significant amount of time interacting with children in their spare time.

And to answer your question, I have two kids of my own, neither of them require me to drink alcohol to enjoy their company.

Interesting…it is extremely normal in all the Scandinavian countries, and I’ve encountered it a lot in Germany and Netherlands as well. I never thought it was considered strange. I ate it a lot as a kid 30 years ago.

I agree, but avoiding feeding in to the negative feedback loop that you want changed is a good thing until that happens.

I listen to a few podcasts that have no ads at all, so that’s also not true.

I’m not blaming any single person, I’m blaming the attitude they (and many people in general) approach it with.

It all has to start somewhere…taking the apathetic approach is not only not helping, but you’re a part of what’s making it worse by just accepting it.
