The “it’s more lean on resources” always seemed to me like a strawman people don’t like it came up with to diss on Gentoo.
Wait but isn’t being more lean a good thing? Or am I misunderstanding how they’re using that word?
God damn it how have I never thought to do this before. Well guess I have something to do after work today lol
It’s pretty nice, especially in combination with slurp
which lets you select a part of the screen.
I have this mapped to my printscreen shortcut: grim -g "$(slurp)" - | wl-copy
, which lets you select a part of the screen to screenshot, and copies the image to the clipboard.
I’m not sure about the others, but I’m pretty sure Hitman isn’t linux native.
As far as I can find on protondb, neither are Deus Ex or Tomb Raider.
I’ve never had any issues running those games through Proton though, so that’s great.
Doesn’t really work when 99% of posts are marked undetermined.
I have tried, and my hair gets super greasy and a bit smelly if I don’t wash it every once in a while. And the conditioner is mostly just to keep it from getting frizzy after I’ve slept on it all night.

tl;dr: bcachefs dev sent in a massive pull request, linus thinks it’s too big and touches too much other code for the current state of the release cycle, dev says his filesystem is the future and should just be merged
Who cares where the revenue comes from? There’s no google spyware in there, and it’s competition, that’s what really matters.
Oh yeah I had the same issue last time I wanted just a prescription, couldn’t find a single optician that would just do an eye test without also getting glasses there.
Ended up finding one I really liked and just also got my glasses there in the end, didn’t really have another choice.
Sure, but typically you can only get contacts in specific strengths (increments of 10 as the other person said), while they can grind the glasses lenses to pretty much anything. So you usually get a different prescription for contacts.
I think they mean glasses lenses vs contact lenses.
After listening through the entire album a few more times, I might have to revise my answer to A Fortress Called Home :D. Damn is this one good album, I fuckin love it.
Almosttown is definitely one of my favourites so far, and also this “live” performance is so damn good:
Sure the sentence works, but now you’ve lost the distinction between more of an abstract concept and a concrete implementation. It wouldn’t be wrong to call both material and mui a design, but in conversation it can just be useful to have a little more distinction between the two without having to go into the details explaining it.
(also damn i should have chosen a better example than material, their naming is pretty confusing)
(not a designer myself btw)
Isn’t design language mainly used to describe general things about how a design should work?
Take Material for example. Material itself is a design language, telling you how far apart certain click targets should be, how big text should be, stuff like that, to make a generally useable UI. It doesn’t tell you what shape or what colour your button should be, that’s up to the implementation, like Material UI, to decide, which is what I would call the general design.
Well that’s nice of them, now you can easily just change that password which of course you only use for one account.
That camera bump, and the stupid glass backs, are the only reason I use a case on my phone. Especially the pixel 6 pro i used to have, was just so slippery it would slide off a slightly crooked wooden table. That actually happened once.
My favourite band changes all the time, mostly depends on who released an album last lol.
My current favourite band is Seven Spires, they just released A Fortress Called Home recently, which I think is awesome. But I think my favourite album of theirs has got to be Gods of Debauchery.
A close second right now is Eternal Blue by Spiritbox. I’ve listened through that entire album so many times already, but I still love it.
Nice, I don’t think I’ve ever met another person who even knows who Destiny Potato are. They released another album as Sordid Pink, in case you weren’t aware. Not as good as Lun though, imo.
Lmao what no they don’t, they use the pound sterling, which they also used before brexit
