Currently learning German. I have another account on lemmy.ml, JetpackJackson@lemmy.ml. But I haven’t used it in a while.
Oh interesting! I see where you’re coming from now. Thanks for the writeup, it’s very informative.
Out of curiosity, why?
Sorry, I just get anxious that I’m suddenly gonna need that code
I’m honestly surprised by how nice Shepherd is now that I’m trying out Guix. It just seems very minimal and stays out of the way. But I havent poked around with it much
Seconding the Mars Chronicles, its one of those books that sticks with you to some degree (but I also really like Ray Bradbury so YMMV)
Rn I’m currently rereading The Inheritance Cycle, it’s fantasy, but it goes very in depth, there are your different races, elves, “orcs”, dwarves, you got dragons, there are different languages that the author made, its very good. Of course I might be biased since I’m rereading it rn lmao
Edit: I did not read the bit about reading it in a day. I guess you could if you read fast
Lp0 on fire
Thank you for the summary!
I’m left handed for writing and eating, and archery but right handed for throwing and a couple of other things. I still say I’m left handed tho. I can sorta write with my right hand but its even more messy than my normal handwriting.
Switched from kitty to foot, I like it.
My main distro is arch but I installed gentoo on a spare laptop and im really enjoying the granular control and the choices available, like if I want to use the binaries I can, or I can use a bunch of USE flags, it’s very nice. Emerge is slightly slower than pacman for me but I can live with that. I should learn to write some ebuilds though.
I want one but I use a lot of apps still so I wouldn’t be able to replace my smartphone with it
I mean there are a lot of communities for news here I think, I also check Hacker News and stuff too
I was never on it for as long as some other people but I definitely feel some nostalgia when I hear talk about the reddit of years and years past
Huh TIL! That’s cool
Im very proud of you as well.
