Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
I’m kind of annoyed that their cover of Ecstasy of Gold didn’t make it onto Garage Inc.
An end of summer weekend getaway to a lake resort with the wife and kid. We’re planning to rent a speedboat and go hog wild.
Metallica - 2x4. It actually got me to stop my listen through of their albums one song into Load, and was a week or two before I pushed through to the rest of the album.
St. Anger has some boring songs, but this song I actively loathe.
Either The Simpsons (1991) in a restaurant or Top Gun (1987) at someone’s house. Can’t remember the exact order.
I too am still using my hotmail from around 1997.
Why would this make a difference?
Chicago dogs are their own thing, though. The rest of the ingredients other than the mustard have a combined flavor profile similar to ketchup: ketchup is basically a poor man Chicago dog.
Also, their poppy sees hot dog buns are a weird pick.
I’ve never been the hugest Sriracha fan. Sriracha paste is better than the sauce, but I’d rather do any other hot sauce.
The only food where ketchup is close to king is hamburgers. But Piri Piri and Heinz57 sauce are both better.
Ketchup is good on hot dogs along with mustard, but mustard is superior.
Actually, I thought of one: a Philly style steak sandwich.
Similar premise but very different tone. The show is more of a survival drama while the movie is much more surrealist.
Decent TV show as well.
I was going to settle for Biden, but I am excited to vote for Harris.
Pretty sure you’re shitposting, but for any parents who don’t know, it means “down to fuck.”
Endless Sky. And AisleRiot Solitaire.
As someone who has played Minecraft, I’d be more terrified.
The API got me interested. Now I use both. Lemmy has no ads, better news, and better apps (currently on Arctic.) Reddit has a better desktop experience (well, new.reddit, I hate old.reddit and new new reddit) and better niche subs. I’d love it if Lemmy grew enough so that the niche experience reddit offers became viable.
Using smart lights as an alarm clock is a game changer. Fades on 10 minutes before my alarm, and lets me wake up slowly and drift in and out of sleep during that interim period. Only occasionally do I go all the way until my audio alarm, and this way is way more pleasant to wake up to.
Lemmy’s feed is 1000% better. No constant reposts, no ads, and ability to filter out read posts so it’s actually unique every day. I like it way better for news than reddit.
Reddit is better for browsing individual communities.
