Most likely they’re not logged in with a paid Plex account. When I head to the web version of the Plex app it’s a shitshow until I login. Then I have all that shit disabled server side.

Nah, I bought it years ago, and have enjoyed the experience for the better part of a decade.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not shitting on jellyfin. But Plex is just the superior experience. I’ve used jellyfin alongside Plex for a couple years and while it’s very useful for sharing content I don’t want my family to see in my Plex libraries. It just doesn’t have the polish that Plex has. There’s definitely potential, and I look forward to where it goes as the project matures. Like all companies, Plex will goto shit eventually, we all know it. The past couple of months have brought annoying changes and I expect them to continue to enshittify the service. But until that time comes I will continue to prefer Plex.
I honestly haven’t opened the android app for awhile. But I just did and the content from my server was right there on load. Near the bottom was trailers and things from Apple TV. I had to scroll pretty far down to see this and if anything it gave me an overview of what was coming up so I could add them to radarr.
I see no Plex content, I have it disabled on my account. So if it was there I’d be pretty annoyed, but it wasn’t. So whatever.
I know Lemmy is obsessed with Jellyfin, but alot of us have lifetime memberships to Plex, and will switch when hell freezes over.
I was there last month looking for some safety shoes to replace my redwing boots as I’ve changed roles in my company and don’t need 8" boots anymore. They didn’t have any shoes in stock because they were partnering with New Balance for their fall lineup of safety shoes. I couldn’t wait, so I picked up an ultra light 6" boot that I’m pretty happy with. Still fucking expensive though.
I’ll just leave this here… https://massgrave.dev/
It was indeed. My apologies. I guess the article walking back the ban didn’t get as much traction as the one banning it.
Canada already banned it. Wish I’d got one sooner
I have kleinfelter syndrome, my body doesn’t produce testosterone. I have to take estrogen blockers to prevent my body from making estrogen.
So I’ll be taking TRT injections for the rest of my life. The only real downside to that is knowing prostate cancer is likely, 2 years in and it’s already elevating my PSA levels. Right now my doctor feels I’m too young to worry about it, they only check it on the off chance that my levels spike into dangerous territory.
I had a UTI recently (thanks to the diabeetus) and for some reason I got constipated as a side effect. Can confirm, 3 days backup was enough to trigger this interesting event.
I was on Effexor XR Max Dose, and one day when I realized that it had effectively killed all feelings I stopped cold turkey, zero side effects. My doctor thinks I have a very high drug tolerance, to the point that anything I’m put on nowadays is just started at close to the max dose. I’m on a drug right now that is prescribed at a level that would normally result in death for most people, and he thinks I can go higher if I need to.
Downside is pain drugs don’t work, at all. He told me they’d need to give me IV pain meds if I really needed any pain suppression.
Ah I had always wondered, I lived across the river from it. In all my years in the Niagara area I don’t think I actually went to NF, USA or its surrounding towns. Then again I’ve heard stories about NF, USA and it didn’t spark in me an interest to go there. Buffalo was always nice though
