Nice, I’ll have to see if I can dig up my apk of the paid version.
Can you log in yet? Last time I did this I couldn’t log into an account, only browse.
Honestly sometimes I wish I could brainwash myself that effectively.
Right but you’re trying to avoid them leaving before that in case you get a win and don’t need to make the lay-offs. If they leave earlier the win you’re hoping for may no longer be enough to save you.
If no one is going there and they don’t know why, and they’re losing money because they’re not getting enough business, they’re not going to decide the solution is to start paying their waiters more. That will just cause them to close down sooner.
Also, just as they don’t know why people stopped going there unless every single one calls them and makes it clear it’s due to tipping/wages, the people protesting aren’t going to know even if they do start paying the waiters more.
Almost every waiter I’ve ever spoken to also prefers tipping because they make more than if they were being paid more, because the business isn’t going to pay them as high as they were making in tips (on average).
The only way they even could, is if they raised the price of everything by 25%. As much as people say they’d be fine with that, such high prices would drive some number of people away. There’s also the issue that if the business owner realised people would pay that much higher, they’d inevitably keep some for themselves and only somewhat increase server wages.
This isn’t to say that I think avoiding tipping is the way to fix it either, just that I don’t think it’s as clear cut as just avoiding the business.
So, if you use it properly. Just like you wouldn’t use a fork for soup despite it being a utensil and food. Using a tool for what it’s good at and avoiding using it for things it’s bad at is part of using it properly.
I’m not in USA but if there are 2 movie style bad guys and 1 says pick me I’ll kill strangers, and 2 says pick me I’ll kill strangers and your friends and family, maybe you as well, and then some random 3rd guy says, pick me or no one and I won’t kill anyone, but one of those 2 bad guys will be picked for you via a coin flip, but at least you get to feel good that you didn’t personally pick the death of people, it’s not illogical to pick the first one.
Maybe you have such good morals you can pick the 3rd or refuse to pick at the expense of possibly additional people you care about, or maybe you don’t personally have anyone in your life that would be affected by the 2nd bad guy so it doesn’t matter to you, but if that’s the case, you’re equally guilty of choosing the choice that makes you feel good just because you don’t have to deal with the consequences of your choice and can ignore what’s actually happening.
Yeah I read one, was about to click away and decided to look at one more and it was yours. Thanks for pulling me back to reality, off I go.
So does Thunder.
Yeah in Australia I just use my home phone landline number converted to a mobile number, first 2 numbers are state code so like 02 1234 5678, mobile numbers are the same but 04 at the start. No idea if it is someone else’s number but I haven’t clashed yet.
I like it. First reason is I don’t always watch just one show, sometimes I’ll move between 3-4, so it can be a week before I see the same show again. Just because a lot of people binge doesn’t mean everyone does.
Secondly there’s no way on earth I’d want to scrub through the previous episode trying to find and remember the important points, especially with buffering, it’d probably take just as long as rewatching the episode.
Third is that it’s not always just the last episode they’re recapping, sometimes it’ll be something from episode 2 that’s only now become relevant in episode 5, and without binging it I definitely prefer the reminder, sometimes even with.
My last point isn’t really a point explicitly in favour of recaps, but finally, you can skip them very easily if you don’t want them. Most if not all streaming services literally build in a skip button for the theme/opening/recap. But even if they don’t it’s pretty easy. So I don’t really see it as a big deal in the end.
Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.
I’d wager the vast majority of people that don’t know anything about another person’s religion couldn’t tell if what they’re saying is true or not.
Circumcision, fasting, transubstantiation, without any knowledge or frame of reference there really is no way to tell if someone is just talking out of their ass or not when it comes to religious traditions.
Simple question: Who do you think would be better for the country as president? Neither isn’t an option, because one is happening, no matter what. Equally bad isn’t an option either, as no 2 people are completely identical. It doesn’t matter is objectively false, as they will do things differently, and those differences are not equivalent.
The fact is actively telling Kamala supporters not to vote is indirectly voting for Trump, and vice versa, whether you yourself turn up or not.
If you truly believe it doesn’t matter, there’s no reason to tell anyone to not vote, as voting and doing the other actions you recommend are not mutually exclusive.

I have a pixel 6.
First, I do get a different brand, that’s my point. Second, now you’re telling me to buy it in bulk to always have around? I don’t want to spend that much on an already expensive chocolate and it’ll probably just go fast from my kids anyway. Plus in summer it’ll either melt from the heat or be rock hard from being in the fridge, neither is ideal.
Also, usually I’ll just buy it as a treat when we’re already out. If I’m trying to split a chocolate between 4 people at a shopping centre, I’m not going to be carrying around a knife, I want to be able to just easily break it into 4 sections. Nor am I going to think before we leave “I should grab 4 of those chocolates I bought online in my pocket in case we want some”.
I have no problem just getting a different brand to avoid the hassle, all I’m saying is maybe I’d get theirs if it wasn’t designed so stupidly. But I’m sure they don’t care enough about getting business from 1 random guy to change it, so I’m fine getting others.
So now you’re telling me to order a small bar of chocolate online to come God knows when, and pay postage for an already expensive chocolate… If I want a single serve of chocolate I don’t want to wait for it to come by delivery days later, these aren’t reasonable solutions.
Tony’s only comes in 180g bars where I live, there is no smaller size. If you’re going to say I should buy a different one then, well I thought I made clear I already do because of their stupid design, but if I wanted to support them because of other good reasons, they only have the one stupid option either way.
Could they have stolen the story? Yes. But they could have equally had a similar experience, it’s not that implausible. I’ve known people that have nose bleeds like that, it’s not some incredibly rare condition, and saying hail Satan is the kind of thing tons of edgy kids/teens would do.
Things can happen more than once.
