10·4 days agoYeah I know not to just come out asking them these three questions. I just had the thought of what kind of questions you could ask to quickly and greatly understand the kind of person in front of you.
I don’t drink coffee. Don’t care if you do. But I do think people who “have to have my coffee,” are weird.
I think motorcycles are cool. I totally get the appeal of feeling the road, the wind on your body, the excitement of letting it open up on a straightaway. I just don’t think I could have one where I’m at and make it to the end of the year alive. Too many fucking truck princesses and a third of the drivers here drive like dog shit.
The highest elevation I’ve been to while hiking was just a bit over 9,000 ft. My group of four were bummed when we realized that not everyone (myself included) was gonna be able to make it to the top, as we weathered out. It was cold as fuck up there. We started seeing snowflakes coming down up ahead on the mountain. I ended up realizing that I would have become a rescue issue if I voted to go up. You live and you learn.

I like so many kinds of music that it would take me 10 or so minutes just to craft a list for you. But to give perspective, I’m into Classical music, Speed Metal, Indie Pop, House music, Electric Swing, Ambient, some Hip Hop, Phonk, Progressive Metal, etc.
Not sure how to answer this one. So I’ll take it as an ‘ultimate day with the guys’ list… Keanu Reeves, Robin Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, Jon Stewart, and Mike Rowe.
Yeah, I can’t even remember the names of the gals I would for the first two. As for kill, and get away with it… Well, he’s dead, but I would bring him back again just so I could kill him for us all. Ronald Reagan.
This is great. But how do you deal with people that you’ve invited to an event that’s public, and you didn’t gel with them?
I’d say Hard Rock or Llanite.

The partial nudity applies to most of the apartment/house. You have to get the DLC for the full nudity.

There is/was a naming system from the olden English times where Quice would come after Thrice. You would be hard pressed to find any English language speakers nowadays younger than 50, who know anything pasted thrice.

There are phrases as well that can be used, such as:
“Joking, not joking.”
“Kidding, not kidding.”
“No, but seriously.”
“I’m joking…unless?”
Make sure you only count 1 fish.
Many fish are too much for just one person, more often than not.
Don’t be like The Count with them. Before you know it, you’ll be a high count of fish and not have enough stomach room for them.
I believe you meant that you have an internet speed of 81 MegaBytes vs 81 Megabits.
From back in the day, there was a settings section for limiting your download/upload speeds, to make sure you didn’t max out your data cap/plan. I would suggest looking into that to make sure you’re not self-capping your DLs.
Also check to make sure that your ISP isn’t throttling your internet connection after you hit a certain amount of data. Look at the contract you have with them.
But like others have said, it could be a list of other reasons.
Edit: Just thought about it. Make sure that you’re connected with a Cat 5e ethernet cable or higher. You might be limiting yourself through your hardware.
If you need to get a newer ethernet cable, I highly recommend Monoprice.com as a place to buy online. Far more often, I have found that they have better prices (even after shipping,) and a wider selection of things than Newegg or Amazon for that matter.

I’ve come to accept that Firefly is never coming back. But I have a few moments when I think about how it would have gone if HBO or some other related cable channel picked up the torch and ran with it. It would have been great to get a minimum of 3 seasons out of that show. It seemed like they had enough content and character building to show.
162·2 months agoYeah, I don’t struggle with boycotting Amazon. The only times I’ve really used Amazon in the past have been for PC parts, audio headphones, and a random thing or two. I do my absolute best not to buy needless things as it is, and I know that there are plenty of other websites to use if I really need to get something online. (I knew this was gonna come in handy one day ha.) Here’s a website called amazonalts.org. It’s curated websites/online stores for the ethical consumer in mind. The categories are Food, Home, Clothes, Beauty, Books, Electronics, and Miscellaneous.
I’m all for being able to change your name legally once, at the age of 13. Then It’s up to you at 18 if you feel the need to change it again.
