More like; it’s cheap when you have no tolerance and no daily habit. You start paying if you let your consumption grow 50-fold.
In Memex crowd thinking environment for thoughts unthinkable to separate beings, human-machine general intelligence raises superintelligent offspring to help all life.

Because things too, on average, lose value over time when materials degrade and better models come out. Inflation saves the trouble of reducing the old price.
I just wish the new models were better than the old ones.

How about Murena Fairphone/Shiftphone with non-rooted /e/OS and locked bootloader?

Let’s not confuse rooted with bootloader unlocked. My /e/OS is not rooted and four bank apps work, including Curve Pay for leaving the wallet at home. Probably thanks to microG contacting Google when needed.
This might break if the comment over there is right: https://lemmy.world/post/36621884/19652276

I fixed mine too. Copy-pasting from email broke it.

Hardware-level components like Titan M can execute processes that users cannot audit or disable, raising concerns about opaque data collection.

Ghosts of Mars has received a cult following since its release, with critics praising the action sequences, soundtrack and blending of genres.

I recently installed /e/OS on my phone. It’s based on Lineage OS, which is based on AOSP.

That works.

Aluminium conducts better per weight. Copper per volume.

We’re making the same mistake with AI as we did with cars; not planning human future.
Cars were designed to atrophy muscles, and polluted urban planning and the air.
AI is being designed to atrophy brains, and pollutes the air, the internet, public discourse, and more to come.
We should change course towards AI that makes people smarter, not dumber: AI-aided collaborative thinking.

Democratisation of powerful tools won’t work because it’s easier to use for destruction than for the opposite. Every psychopath designing superbugs and inventing future weapons.
