That’s us. When we write reviews or share things.
Off topic- I never understand why people in commercials are so awkward when they recommend things. I send things to my friends all the time…check out these yoga pants with pockets, Kroger has blackberries on sale, look at Kitty Lulu in the new dog bed, etc. Why is it so hard for fakers to appear genuine?

The response is the win. It means they’ve been heard/seen. Think of it like catcalls. They just want a reaction.
I think the single downvotes that pop up on most posts is a bot or something. I’ve seen people complain about it. No worries. Or maybe it’s a troll. 🤷

Every response is like winning at a video game. They get a little brain rush that encourages them to do it more to get more/bigger responses.

Dopamine
Paper products, freezer things, and snacks mostly come from Costco about once per month or when needed.
Milk, eggs, yogurt, veggies and things that get used regularly are bought weekly.
Things that are best fresh, like salad stuff, and items needed for recipes are more frequent.

I bookmark them and close them so at least they’re out of sight.

I tell them about my son’s in-laws who are proud ‘Christians’ and how my kids come over after visiting them on holidays and comment about how nice it is to be away from the racist slurs that are part of conversations there.

I’m the same. We’re remodeling a house and when i see the price of an item i do hours and hours of research trying to save a few bucks, which delays everything. We began remodeling Jan 6. Could be done by now if i were less wishy washy.

I also talk too much, especially when I’m anxious/nervous, struggle with silence when I’m with other people, and I’m too loud. It sucks but i don’t really know how to stop the nervous chatter and i can’t judge what’s the right volume. Appreciate your post and the responses.

We just sold a house after living in it for 25 years. It’s where we raised our kids. Before selling i was struggling a bit. The moving out process is exhausting and makes you just want to be done. We inherited a house that needs significant work. The remodeling of that is exciting and the proceeds from our house sale make it possible, so I’m not sad about it at all. My husband likes to drive by to criticize the new owners landscaping.

I work in healthcare and husband works in engineering. Hopefully we could live cheaply enough to survive on the $ we have and possibly be viewed as helpful enough to the community to gain some level of security.

It’s not the friends. It’s the distant family that you never see but still want to know about births, deaths, etc. It’s the neighborhood groups that tell you when your package gets delivered to the wrong house. Its the city groups that tell you why the railroad crossing is closed and which house has the best Halloween decorations.

I generally think of “Christ in Christmas” as a reminder about consumerism, not hate for Hanukkah, etc.
I grew up not eating it much and it often bothers my stomach. I’m tired of saying, “hold the cheese” or “can you get that without the cheese?”
Yeah, always have to wait but at least they’re fresh.
Mayo should be outlawed. Aioli is just garlic mayo. Something about the shiny, sliminess of it makes me nauseous.
Can i have your 10-hour $150k job when you’re done with it?
