When I first joined Lemmy I hoped it would be more of a place where some different world views can be met a discussed, but people here are usually very hostile to even the slightest disagreements towards some political topics, so Zelenskiy is a hero no matter what.

As a person who has been born in the post-USSR country and knowing what’s going on there, I sincerely hate both russian and ukrainian governments. In this war there won’t be any winners amongst regular people, and one cannot justify horrific actions of Zelenskiy by saying that Putin is just doing the same or something.

I really hope this shitshow be over as soon as possible.
