I want people to go by their first two initials, and then the entire last name. Y’know, “H. G. Wells, J.G. Wentworth”.
It just makes everyone sound more fancy and serious.
sometimes I talk about video games. RIP kbin.run

Probably a soft Rhodes keyboard when it comes to something more dynamic, but other than that I’d be tied for the sound of rain and the sound of waves.

That one is pretty good! The entire scene with the shootout where everyone keeps breaking windows is my favorite. There are so many good gags in that scene, it’s ridiculous.
Top Secret, by the same guys who did Naked Gun. I think it’s somehow actually funnier on average than Naked Gun, even though that one’s great, too.
Basically, I don’t know if a human could watch it and not find it fucking amazingly funny. So dense with jokes, so creative with the execution, so many funny practical effects, you’re constantly astounded that they created props and sets for such absurd humor, and it really works.
I like that, suddenly is sudden to the listener, all of a sudden is surprising to the story’s characters, and makes the listener anticipate that surprise without being able to warn them about it
That’s actually why I drink Alani, it has no sugar, but tastes amazing. There’s this whole new wave of energy drinks that don’t use sugar, such as Alani, Ghost, and Bang. I’m not sure what they use for sweeteners instead, maybe something also bad, but it’s an energy drink, I’m not gonna pretend I’m a saint to my body
It’s about the size of a red bull, smaller than a Monster.
Edit: 12 fl oz, just checked a can
I did not know that! That’s clearer wording, I’ll use it in the future
I don’t like the taste of coffee, so I drink energy drinks. Energy drinks often have much more caffeine than a cup of coffee. for example, I drink Alani brand, they have a whopping 200(!) mg of caffeine per can.
When I drank one every day of the week at work, I then wouldn’t drink any on the weekend because it didn’t matter if I had energy. By Sunday I would have a day long caffeine headache and it was awful, but I refused to drink an energy drink JUST to stave off the headache because it made me feel like a junkie lol.
Instead, I now drink one every other day of the week, and I don’t have headaches. That is how I chemically (not psychologically) became addicted to caffeine.
Oh, we accepting abbreviations now to fit one syllable? This is cheating, I’m calling the police
My cats simply act like it’s not happening, no concept of what’s going on. Or any of Marvin Gaye’s other albums for that matter.
I can definitely go for that. I think the book in its own right is important for that, and is a great overview of that topic, and wouldve been a lot more impactful if I naturally found it, read it, discussed it with others.
Instead I got the whole overview of what it was trying to do first, had already discussed everything it covers in school, and then they made us read it and it resulted in my experience of “why am I reading this, we sort of went over this in three different ways already”
Had to read Animal Farm for school. Haven’t read it since then, so this could be a now incorrect edgy high school opinion, but I felt that its allegory was so obvious and direct that it had no need to be written and was a waste of time to read when we could’ve just directly discussed communism instead.
It Takes Two. Phenomenal game, decent emotional story behind it
I mean the cats can get enough of their predatory instincts out by play fighting or playing with toys. You can alternatively just use a laser pointer and treats with them instead without affecting the ecosystem or killing birds just tryna live like everybody else
Well, I never thought I’d be jealous of someone’s charging cable, but here I am
Scooby Doo Courage the Cowardly Dog Invader Zim
SpongeBob trumps all of these, but that’s like a free bingo spot for 90s kids
Well, yeah, you’re technically right. Humanity will never have the default restraint and compassion to stop turning words into slurs, though. So we have to police it. Same reason we have… The police at all. People can’t police themselves. We need systems and rules to do that for us.
