Thanks, sounds good. I need the running system, so I’d first set up BTRFS on one disc, test it and then add the other disc.
Those Chinese astronomers who documented a supernova from which we can now study the remnants of with precise timing.
I will be decrypting from a small busybox inside the initrd. I suspect that it will decrypt both drives if the passphrase is the same. At least that’s how it works on the desktop.
Why not ZFS’s own encryption?
Though I would rather go with BTRFS since I don’t have any experience with ZFS.
SDDM seems to be severely underdeveloped. It doesn’t seem to get nearly as much love as the rest of KDE. You might consider switching to GDM or another display manager that does what you want. You can be happy that your HDMI monitor is not mirrored smaller on your ultrawide.
I’d rather set up a VPN for yourselves. Many routers can act as a VPN. Maybe you and your friends should check your routers if they are capable of doing that. Could be the easiest option.
That’s not my experience. Bought a new Brother MFC the other day. Hooked it up to the Wifi. All Linux machines in the house can automatically print and scan without any additional setup needed.
The community is probably still bitter from the way Owncloud went corporate which prompted the Nextcloud fork in the first place.
And now Nextcloud is plagued with the technical debt slowing it down.
If Quentin Tarantino would make a Star Wars movie I would probably watch it even if it was in Disnep’s canon. He’s even more of a movie nerd than George Lucas. I think he would get it right.
Never understood why he rather wanted to make Star Trek.
All users of my instance were unanimous in their wish to ban that bot.
There used to be such a bot. I banned it because often it was the only comment on a post, making me believe that a person commented. But it shouldn’t be too hard to write your own for whatever community you want.
Do you mean, blocking people from accessing it? Not every website needs that.
That said, on my own blog I just manually approve every comment. People I have already approved may post comments without waiting for moderation.
When Covid hit my wife was super afraid of Long Covid but I thought that shit wouldn’t get it. Now I’ve been living in my bed for two years because I’m too weak for much else. Yeah, changed my mind about that one.
I once tried to explain instant messaging to an older woman but she didn’t get the difference to email because she’d regularly use them to instantly chat with her son. That was two or three decades ago. While in theory emails can take days to be delivered the reality is that for a human it is “instant”.
I think Hellblade 2 is one of the best looking games currently.
