Nah nothing that cool. A megacorp that has so much influence that it doesn’t need a military of its own. It knows everything it needs to about everyone, can sway public opinion as it wishes, and will continue to enmesh itself into every aspect of private and public life. It produces no products. We are the products, and we are the consumers.

Upgrading my computer’s primary storage from a hard disk (HDD) to a solid state drive (SSD). Really young folks on here have no idea how amazing it was for computers to go from taking minutes to start up to taking seconds.

Buying my first cell phone, which was a Nokia smartphone, in 2003. Having email and useful applications in my pocket, including maps and web search.

I know! As I commented on a post about that, I’m sure it was done with great care. You don’t criminality indict the sitting mayor of the largest city in the country on federal charges unless you are sure a crime was committed.

I live in NYC. As is tradition, no one likes the mayor. Though this one is among the worst in recent history.

Being mayor of a city like this is so far away from my capabilities. I think you need to be kind of sociopathic or narcissistic to believe you can do this job.
