So when they do code reviews and a complete file sliped through what does that say about the quality of their reviews? Either they didnt want this file in there, then their qa is shit or theydid want that file in their, then they are vibe coding to an extend

Thats not completly right at least under german law (and most likely also under us law).

A license is basically a contract between you and the copyright owner. If the copyright owner changes the distribution of a piece of software to a new license you have a diffrent contract with them. So you have to hold up this new license. If you already had a license (in this case gpl) you can use this old contract, but you can not download a new copy delete what was added since the copyright change and use that under gpl. You would have to proof that you had the gpl license before or in this case that it got relicensed to you.

So the original code wasnt gpl at all then. If this was true i would be pretty sure this repo would already be closed.

No, this is plainly wrong. A license is a proclamation of the copyrightowner how others can use their material. The copywrite owner does not license their own work to themself, they can do whatever they want with their copyright. If you are not the copyright owner you have to have the license and afe only permitted to use the material after that license.

Well most countries handle it this way. You get your visa revoked and thats it. Pretty normal stuff and rarely is a judge involved. In the usa they dont even need to revoke a visa to throw you into guantanamo it seems. Non citizens normally dont have a right to stay in a country. It is a priviledge not a right.

Under german law it is enough of a reason to get deported when the german immigratsoffice things that you are a threat to public safety. They dont need legal proof. having a lawsuit against you of a serious crime is enough for that. Eu law says that you need more reason to be deported, but that is eu law not german law.

Thats why the american gets deported and doesnt file a lawsuit, while the 3 europeans did (and most likly can stay in germany till their lawsuit for destroying university property of at least 100k, attack with hatches, bats and heavy equippment, defamation and usage of unconstitutianal symbols and parols comes to a conclusion)

While it is true that they are not convicted, all 4 of them are prime suspects in the destruction of university property and in threatening university staff with weapons, which is legally enough of a reason to throw even eu citizens out.
