Battlebit remastered does 254 player matches (127 vs 127, not sure why they didn’t do 128 vs 128 but it’s close enough). It’s not a very popular game anymore, it was super popular at launch (80k+ players) but is down to peaks of 2k per day. I stopped playing because I’m not a huge fan of fps games, but I got a couple hundred hours in it before the fps fatigue hit me. It died fast (pretty easy to get banned by bogus reports, lack of dev communication, lot of unneeded and unfun nerfs, etc) but was a lot of fun while it lasted.
It’s added sugar - and yoplait/chobani add a lot of sugar. Yogurt with no added sugar has no more sugar than the milk used to make it does and it is mouth-puckeringly tangy. I make my own yogurt and you pretty much need honey with it to make it palatable with fruit (some people eat unsweetened yogurt without the honey… Those people scare me)
They are regulated - their nutrition label tells you exactly how much added sugars there are. You can’t really regulate how much sugar can be in “sauce” before it’s no longer considered a sauce (like subways bread being legally cake) because sauce is incredibly broad and already includes dessert sauces anyway.
You can make yogurt in an instantpot with very little work (heat up milk, leave on the yogurt setting for 8-12 hours, done) in about 12 hours, highly recommend it. Only ingredients are milk and yogurt with live cultures (which you can buy once, then just freeze a few oz of your homemade yogurt to use for making more yogurt in the future), you can add as much or little sugar, honey, etc as you want. To make it into Greek yogurt or cheese, just strain through cheesecloth for different amounts of time. Can even use the drained whey for protein shakes if that’s your thing.
If you want a sauce that adds a lot to anything you put it on, I recommend Alton Brown’s tomato sauce, adding a decent amount of fresh basil to the recipe if it’s in season near you makes it even better but isn’t necessary https://altonbrown.com/recipes/pantry-friendly-tomato-sauce/
It’s more work than just cooking down tomatoes, but it’s so worth it. I do double, triple, or quadruple batches and freeze it in 32 oz mason jars. Great on eggs, pizza, pasta, base for soups, burgers, and anything else you want tomato flavor added to really
Warning - do not make your creative/fun hobby the one that also makes you money. I’ve met several people who were into woodworking as a hobby, started doing it on commission for family, friends, referrals, etc, and it quickly became a job rather than a fun hobby. The timelines and demands that come with doing commissions killed it for them, they still occasionally do woodworking as gifts/favors, but very explicitly just for family and close friends without timelines, and only charge for materials
I haven’t seen anything bad about them (haven’t been looking though). I’ve been using the futo keyboard and like it so far, the swipe isn’t great but they’re crowdsourcing the training so I have high hopes
My company already did - it was a shitshow and my laptop sucks even more now.
It sounds like a barebones beef stroganoff
Nope, haven’t done anything harder than ibuprofen tbh, never had a desire to try. I do dream visually though
I have complete aphantasia, I can’t even visualize a ball or table, or anything else - never have been able to, I see absolutely nothing when I close my eyes and can’t visualize or see things in my head at all except when dresming. Same for my Dad. He can apparently visualize an extremely tiny amount (like the night sky but just black + stars, etc) when he’s high on thc gummies. I’ve never been high so idk if it works for me.
It took me 24 years to realize that people actually can actually see images in their head when they think about something or intentionally imagine it. I always thought that phrases like “picture it in your head” or “see in your head what it will look like” were just phrases, not that people actually can see things when they think about it.
The main limitation of Nvidia gpu’s is you can’t use Wayland on most WM’s (you can on Ubuntu, but then you’re using Ubuntu)
Just a warning, the big factorio 2.0 update and space age dlc are coming out on October 21st. My supervisor is taking the whole week off for it
I’ve always been a sucker for Terraria and Starbound when I want to build, factorio for automation, dwarf fortress for planning/management, and cataclysm dark days ahead for survival (not sure if it counts since it’s free and open source - do NOT buy it on steam).
I greatly prefer games with a lot of mechanics that I can get lost in over ones that look really good with minimal functionality which is too common nowadays imo… I also like art styles of these games a lot
Because there was no /s - no they didn’t, it’s been around for a little while now. It basically means products or services slowly getting worse rather than better - such as adding ads, adding useless or broken ai to everything, switching to a subscription without adding any actual value. This is almost always done in the interest of maximizing profit as much as possible, at the expense of the users (monetarily and experience wise). Basically, see any major company decisions in the last several years, especially at companies with very large audiences (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Airbnb, Facebook, etc)
Probably just got a bad one tbh, I’ve had mine since 2015 and my wife still uses it almost every day (primarily for stardew valley) with zero issues. I sometimes use it on weekends so I know there’s still no issues with it
