I get how you feel, but the social construct around mobile communication communications started to evolve very quickly, and then mid 90s. I know, because I was there. From when and where and why to call someone on their cell phone, when texting was appropriate, and a lot more stuff on top of that that has continued to evolve even until today.

The social etiquette has evolved, but I also relate to something else that may be affecting you: getting a little older. Not being so “in touch“ with the goings on, that you feel a little bit left behind. I can definitely relate to that.

Every issue you raised in your comment is actively being worked on/improved, it’s just that not everybody is up on the latest ways to deal with all of that. But there are ways to do with that, too.

  • The entire point of these tests is to see how much that they can get away with exploiting children before enough people object to force them to stop.

Then they will just disguise what they’re doing so it takes several more years for people to once again get outraged enough to force them to stop… And so the cycle repeats and has been repeating since Facebook first came out.

Serious legislation to regulate these platforms, combined with extraordinarily severe penalties are the only way to begin to curb this behavior. Banning social media companies altogether is the only sure fire to stop it altogether.

But we knew all this decades ago… The only reason we’re doing what we’re doing now is because everyone in power to do anything about it was put there by the tech billionaires paying for them to be president or commerce Secretary, whatever it takes for the billionaires to get away with whatever they wanna do.

Why do you think Epstein was so popular?

There’s a difference between “tuna” and “tuna fish”.

    “Tuna” is a fish

“Tuna fish” is an approximation. A culinary goal, if you will. It starts as simply a flavor and can evolve all the way into a composite fast food sandwich. And while either, both, and or everything in between may taste exactly like tuna, it isn’t. It’s “tuna fish“. Because it didn’t start there, it merely ended there.

Similar to the difference between butter and margarine
