I saw it at Bracken cave, they had a jar with it. I wouldn’t say it’s super sparkly, more like it has a cool sheen to it. Like dark eyeshadow with some glow or something.
True story! In Bracken cave with millions of bats, they used to mine for guano to supply the confederacy with gunpowder. Got to see it last summer.

3·11 days agoFor me, the closest was volunteering at a local non-profit that provides temporary housing to immigrants who are released from the local detention center and may not even know where the hell they are. They bus them in from Texas (we are in Colorado) and detain them here. Casa de Paz is the name of the non-profit in case anyone feels generous. They do amazing work and provide much-needed services and tons of empathy for the people they serve.
Yeah, the other day I was consulting with another therapist, and I was telling her how in EMDR therapy I often say “don’t give me the whole article, just the headline” when I want to explain to the client to avoid talking too much during EMDR. she works with teens, and she went “yeah, that will not fly with my clients.”
We came up with “don’t give me the long-form video, just give me the TikTok” as we both felt we were inching closer to the grave, lol.
This will make you see red. My nephew cannot get vaccinated for legitimate health reasons. His parents were always pro-vax until it came time for the Covid vaccine. Then they became all “mRNA is a new technology, we don’t have enough research.” We basically stopped talking to them after my husband yelled at his brother (nephew’s dad) that he is risking killing his own son if he gets Covid. So fucking stupid. Yes, they are conservative although they claim not to support Trump.
I would absolutely eat unreasonable amounts of potatoes. My Slavic bloodline would be proud.
