If you’re using a recent version of Chrome, Google has stunted the capabilities of many ad blockers. Suggest using another browser and/or using something that catches this stuff before it gets to your browser like a properly configured pihole. Otherwise, configure your ad blockers more aggressively, especially for sites that are less likely to screen their ads.
I think most devs even only have worked in software companies that sell software where devops isn’t as critical and complex since there’s not “production” environments. When you work for a company who makes software for themselves and/or hosts software from other companies themselves, devops is a much bigger deal. Even moreso if it’s a heavily regulated industry like healthcare. Most other companies don’t spend much on devops or even often make the developers do that work themselves.
Be autistic and you probably won’t get used to accents…lol. One of my traits is the inability to form habits or “get used to” things in general.

Clutch must be depressed on most modern cars or it won’t start, though it’s technically not required if in neutral. And best to depress the brake pedal as well, again, many modern cars won’t even start if you don’t.
And although it doesn’t matter what gear the shifter is in when the clutch is depressed, put it in neutral, so that if you accidentally let off the clutch after starting it, you don’t move, grind gears, or lurch and stall which puts strain on the gearbox and brakes. I’ve done that many times before I started checking the shifter first. Many people put the shifter in first gear when parked as an engine brake in case the parking brake fails.
It absolutely should be talked about. All events in all of the world should be talked about as long as it involves factual information, which can sometimes be hard to come by these days . It’s only extremists trying to create false narratives who would say otherwise. Many times. It has been a fairly common theme. My dreams that I remember tend to be extreme emotional dreams. Either nightmares that I commonly had as a kid. Falling in love which was especially common as a teenager. And yeah, the extreme heartbreak is real. Music, which is connected closely to emotions for me and often manifests as beautiful symphonies that I wish I could immediately write down because damn I could probably make money off that s***. Flying or being under water and not drowning and the weight being lifted and the emotion of freedom tied to those. Etc.
The one positive to wearing contacts all the time is that my eyes are mostly protected from UV. I always think how cool that is even if I still avoid looking directly at UV lights out of caution.
Greatly depends on the type of alcohol. Since aging usually makes things more expensive and generally it greatly reduces the bitterness and alcohol “sting” as well as increasing the flavor from barrel woods and other additives, things that are aged often take a big jump in quality along with the big jump in price.
But outside of aging, you’re definitely on the money. The stuff that’s 25-50 is usually the best bang for your buck. The more expensive stuff is usually inflated by marketing like good advertising to make it popular or gimmicks like fancy bottles.

Many products are now whipped to increase the volume with less product as a form of shrinkflation and/or include ingredients to reduce ice crystal formation from repeated melting and refreezing to reduce waste and the impact of understaffing in supply chains and grocery stores that lead to product being left out for extended periods. Haagen Dazs recently finally converted all of their flavors. The plain vanilla and vanilla swiss almond were a few of the last ones to change. But it’s been a slow progression of different manufacturers over the last couple of decades really.
It’s sad because ice cream is my favorite dessert. I eat a lot of it, or at least used to. There are only a few brands with a few flavors remaining that make good “hard” ice cream outside of ice cream shops. But the good shops are so expensive.
On the age thing, TBH anyone under 25 or so should not be dating anyone more than 10 years older than them. It’s still a very formative time both physically (brain development) and psychologically/sociologically. It can cause serious power dynamic issues that risk them being unable to end the relationship or deny consent for certain things. That said gender doesn’t make a difference in those scenarios beyond the fact that women are at a disadvantage and less likely to be wealthy and use that to control the younger.
But outside of issues where the older person holds power over the younger, I don’t think age should even be that big of a thing. Yes, people of different generations are less likely to have things in common and other conflicts can occur that are age related, but that’s for them to decide.

Alcohol, yes, but with marijuana, since the substance they test for stays in your system for a long time, no. Though the argument has always been that it’s illegal and so more serious. And technically it’s still illegal at the federal level, so o guess technically that’s true, but the federal government doesn’t often enforce it and in several states it’s legalized. If it ever gets legalized at the federal level and they still do hair tests instead of blood tests, though, I don’t see how they can justify that.
But in reality, pretty much the only people who get punished for marijuana use are either minorities or someone being targeted for something else they did and weed is just an easy excuse to fire them, put them in for-profit prisons, murder them legally, etc.

Likely that email or a previous email you clicked on was a phishing attack and when you logged in you gave them your password. And if you used that password anywhere else, you let them into those accounts as well. Make sure to check the links in emails are actually pointing to the expected web address and never click through warnings about SSL certificates being invalid. Better yet, never click on email links. Go into your web browser and type in the address manually. And use a password manager with unique, random passwords for every website and use a strong password and a 2FA method that requires access to a physical object or biometrics (cell phone text messages don’t count as a physical object). If you still have trouble then it could be that your 2FA method is compromised. If you’re using a cell phone, for example, it’s possible your neighborhood is the target of a stingray or similar device that mimics a cell tower. Turn off 2G if you can. But even then, that only eliminates a subset of the devices. Get a yubikey or use other, more secure, 2FA methods and be sure to disable the less secure 2FA methods, because you’re only as secure as the least secure one.
