Hybrid voter here: I enjoy the convenience of filling out the absentee ballot at home, then drop it off personally at an early voting location. A poll worker checks for signature/etc. then I can see them putting the envelope into the box.

Inaccurate. With Trump you can always count on getting lies.
Yes, plan accordingly as a reader, AND as a poster!
Hmm… that beet looks kinda similar to a human heart, wouldn’t you say? Is this a subtle suggestion?
I sure hope this will be the case. It may be the only way out of this mess.
I do the same, even put up with some that are a little annoying. I find it interesting to see what the entire community is doing.
'Not sure there’s a way to easily measure, just asking for rough estimates.
‘Had to look up the 1-9-90 rule
Or… “You seem to want to talk about sex a lot. Is everything OK at home?”
A bobcat. It casually sauntered through the neigborhood and hung out at a local park. I watched it for about five minutes from about 30 feet away.
If you like eagles, visit Sitka Alaska. They’re as common as pigeons up there.
(Just bigger, and scarier. Have you seen their claws?)
I was going to mention my worst birthday, but it pales in comparison to this. I hope you’re better now.
Follow in the footsteps of Gil Cisneros…
"…is an American government official, philanthropist, and politician who served as Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness in the Biden administration. He served as the U.S. representative for California’s 39th congressional district from 2019 to 2021
“In 2010, he and his wife won a $266 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot and became philanthropists, establishing endowments for scholarships to be given to Latino students at GWU and the University of Southern California. They also founded Generation First Degree Pico Rivera, with the goal of ensuring every Latino household in Pico Rivera has at least one college graduate, and the Gilbert and Jacki Cisneros Foundation with an initial investment of $20 million to provide mentorship in education.”
Yeah, the Democratic party really showed us how they think about positive change when they blocked Bernie. We’re seeing the same dysfunction with how Harris has softened her position on a number of issues. That party machine mainly thinks of itself.
'Had a similar experience with a 2020 Bernie rally in Los Angeles. Big arena, lots of energy, long lines. It was loud but a good experience. I’d recommend it at least once for a candidate that you feel strongly for.
PS: I went on to canvas for Bernie. He won the primary in California!
Post a follow-up please.
Get in the habit of getting into habits. My high school chemistry teacher turned me onto this. Make a point of doing something every day for a while and soon it will become hard NOT to do it.
The first time camping with my girlfriend. We drove 25 miles down a dirt road to get to the campsite but found it was full. (We hadn’t realized that it was opening day of hunting season.) So we drove 25 miles back and started looking for a hotel. No luck after multiple tries. It was getting dark and we were tired.
The surprise? We still got along just great! Even with the setbacks we took it easy on each other and still found humor. Eventually we found a hotel room, then the next day a beautiful campsite.
So I married her.
“The Good Place” - you bet your fudging life!
I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
