There are easily accessible websites that let you search any state for a useable drivers license. I can’t imagine it would be too difficult to use some generator to make an ID. How else will all the botnets and AstroTurf orgs out there survive?

I’ve got apps that I need to use from developers that are not around anymore. My old phone only needs wifi and I’ve disabled/uninstalled everything else. The phones battery last like 7 days now.

tidderuuf@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Pentagon Warns Microsoft: Company’s Use of China-Based Engineers Was a “Breach of Trust”English8·11 days agoGoogle, Amazon and several other gov contractors have been loosening their hiring guidelines since the Obama era when it was required for anyone working on gov cloud or gov anything needed to be U.S. Citizen, then it was just on U.S. soil to finally has to be monitored or reviewed by someone in U.S. which very quickly devolved to get the work done even if no one in the U.S. is awake. As you can imagine it would be easy for anyone to slip and take advantage of such wide gaps in security.
What in the tech world isn’t broken? Besides older consoles and computers disconnected from the internet.
