  • No, because it’s very obvious from the text. It’s super unnecessarily stretched and argues against strawmans while ignoring real counter arguments. It takes longer to read while containing very little actual arguments. It makes interacting real hard because everything is diffuse, every bit you want to try to say is dissolved in that wall of text.

Most people who are actually interested in conversation simply wouldn’t write in that way because it’s annoying to interact with. So you’re getting hostile replies because there’s no point in actually discussing single points when one can assume that you’ll reply with such an overly verbose thing as well.

If you really care about the topic, at least write it yourself, think about the real arguments people bring against it, and maybe use AI for polish if you really need to. And probably try to make sure why it belongs in /c/anarchism and not on Moltbook

  • I think your approach (believe everything except exclusionary stuff) is quite interesting and good.

I don’t really agree with the rest of the post as it’s based on a kinda false dichtomy, separating people in those camps when there’s a lot of room for other beliefs. I’m an atheist but not an antitheist in the way you wrote it and can’t find myself in there - I’m really not sure if your two groups capture so many people.

The title is pretty clickbaity of course but after reading the article it makes sense (on your definitions).

  • Rolling releases, great docs, great amount of software available with the package manager, especially with the AUR.

I went through the manual installation a few times and while the general process is annoying and error-prone, after setting up the basics many things worked great out of the box, even the printer I once had. I’m on Endeavour now which mostly does exactly what I want.

  • I know there’s some mostly anarchist tech coops in my country but even they are competing in a capitalist society. It’s still important to have these, kind of as a preparation for better times, but the economic framework surrounding them still sucks.

I think autonomic is kind of international, maybe getting in touch helps you, I think they have a matrix channel as well.

When we are recruiting for increased worker membership we will make a post on our blog. If you are interested in joining Autonomic but we are not currently recruiting, you are still welcome to send us your CV at boop@autonomic.zone.
