Candy for everyone!
Candy for everyone!
Just found Survive (but the original 1982 one, not the reprint), which we’d played a bunch growing up, and it was perfect to play through a couple games of it for nostalgia’s sake without having to buy a game I wouldn’t actually play much at all beyond that.
There’s been a big bump in board games at my library, which I love and I’ve donated to, and one by my sister’s place has a whole tool lending library. Seems super nice for folks that need a power drill once every few years.
It sounds like they moved into a neighborhood with an HOA that had an opt in pool and a two tier fee based on usage, and y’all changed that after the fact and are holding the smaller percent who don’t care about the pool hostage. This is part of why no one likes HOAs.
Prior to the pool retrofit could folks still move in and choose whether or not to pay for/use the pool?
Wait so for the folks that didn’t care about the pool, their dues went up 3.5x so far, soon to be 4.5x, for something they didn’t want or use, and you’re surprised they’re not paying? That’s some entitlement right there…
Don’t try to BS your way through answers; if you don’t know, let them know that but also tell them how you’d go about getting that information.
I’ve been ride or die Spotify basically since they release in North America, and have had a family plan going for years with my wife, a house account, and then my sister and my parents on it, and it was great, but they’ve become such turds about their family plan. Yes fine, my sister and parents don’t live with me so if your IP flag shows up and you want to email them to have them confirm their address, that’s whatever. But they emailed my wife, and when she didn’t reply in a week they dropped her from my account and noted that she couldn’t rejoin it and that was a bridge too far for me.
I’ve been paying for Apple+ or whatever it is for a while for the two of us but liked Spotify enough that the now $20ish a month was worth it, but this pushed me to migrate all our playlists over to Apple and just use the service we were already paying for. I can’t understand why Spotify would be such butts about it because I easily would have gone up to $30/month to cover my family but now they’re getting nothing from me.
I think I’m doing okay? I’m just under three years older than my sister and she hits me up semi-regularly for advice, we get along, and we hang out fairly often. Not a role model by any means but I feel like she co spiders my advice worthwhile and that’s probably all you can ask for.
Picking this up, thanks for the rec!
