I don’t think Zelensky’s opinion matters much here… If Trump and Putin agree on a peace deal, then he will either be forced to sign it, or if he doesn’t bend then Trump can simply say “fuck it I’m out”, and you can start betting on how long Zelensky will be able to continue the war with only Europe’s backing (and whether it will result in total capitulation or if a riot will break out before that…)

I’m also not super optimistic btw, but I think right now is the closest we’ve got to a peace deal in that war
