To be fair, he didn’t promise to be a one term president. He promised to be a bridge to the next generation, and people took that to mean a one term president. The way he set up Kamala with only no win scenarios and left her out to dry, it was clear he was not setting her up for success or himself to be one term. Apparently the rest of the Democrat party doesn’t feel the same about forming a bridge to the next generation. They’d much rather keep corrupt geriatric fools in charge rather than bow out gracefully while the next generations take over.
