That’s what in used to use but there are some features you can’t access without the physx components so I get the whole package now. For baseline it’s good for sure.
They’ve never been hidden. You just go to the website, put in your model and download it. There’s apps that do it for you now which is where this must be coming from. Still doesn’t change the fact you can directly download the driver.
Also great for bee life and other pollinators. The reason they stopped putting it in lawns was because of selective herbicides that kill all plants EXCEPT grass and some marketing fuck-knuckle (string them all up and ban the teaching of marketing) decided that clover had to go so they could sell herbicides that also kill pollinating insects. Happened in the 50s I think.
And more understanding and acceptance of who you are and what you want/need.
30s is really a great time. Around 35 is when your body will start telling you about all those times you didn’t take care of yourself, so stay fit and eat right and you should be having the time of your life for the next 20 years.
There are plenty of panels that are 60hz+ with decent g2g in the display panel space. My company sells them sometimes so i just ordered from there for my current tv. 65 inch. LED. 5 year warranty. Just a panel. No smart anything. It’s fine for sports, at least cricket and basketball which is what I watch.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Fellow Americans, when did you realize the "America is #1!" propaganda they feed us was a lie?
52·2 years agoIf you’re wealthy it’s the best place to live. If you’re not it sucks. Source, someone who’s travelled a bit, including the States, and has a reasonable amount to compare it to.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is there anything you've *never* done, that wouldn't be believed when sharing this with others?
41·2 years agoHonestly it’s relatively flavourless. Have Crayfish in NZ instead. Smaller animal, far more flavour.
Warmer seas = more energy in the seas = bigger storms, bigger droughts etc. that’s what we’re seeing already and will be getting worse in the near term. Sea levels - we don’t know enough about the deep structure of Antarctica to put a timeline on. Recent discoveries have shortened thinking as there was liquid water in areas we didn’t expect.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's the latest gadget or tech that you regret buying?
1·2 years agoIt’s very much worth it, eh. I have a contact through work I can order them from, 5 or 8 year warranties even if powered on 24x7. Nothing but inputs including usb, sometimes toslink but if you’re running a nuc or something just get one with toslink out for the hifi.

3·2 years agoThey don’t make them any more. Buy good quality retail panels, the kind shops use in their displays. They’re expensive but that’s because they’re not counting on making money off ad revenue or your data.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When did Microsoft stop developing Windows to be good?
5·2 years agoTo be fair, in both your examples(macOS, Android) the cost of the OS is borne by the cost of the device, same as if you got an OEM installed windows device from a retailer. That’s not a huge point of difference

It’s been the same for 20 years at least. My first nVidia card was a geforce2 but I had an integrated SOC one that borrowed main board memory before that called a RIVA TNT 2. Prior to that had an ISA SVGA card but can’t remember who made it:
