I get that you really really love politics and “debating.” There are plenty of communities on Lemmy for that. This is a news community, for the posting of news articles. Look around. I’m not the only one to think this. My fiance lasted one week on Lemmy before she got tired of the negativity and anger. Then she deleted her account.
