The only things to add would be Warren staying in the race through Super Tuesday. Her supporters would say she was trying to spark a contested convention where she thought she would win the gamble. Her opponents would say she stayed in too long and just worked to keep Sanders campaign from having momentum and kept the left disorganized and divided after the Biden camp drew lines and consolidated.
That and the Clyburn maneuver: Sanders was toast. But that’s how shit went down and we all kinda lost.

I went to college before the internet was ever considered a valid source for any material. But using the internet made research extremely easy if I could determine the book source for reference.
I went back to college right around that time the internet just became the default source for everything. It was staggering how little information was expected to be known. The implicit ubiquitous access to information was a staggering foundational shift.
The thing to remember is that internet and cellular service wasn’t available everywhere. I had to talk 10 minutes to a hill to get service to be able to make a cellular phone call. Most internet options required landline phones and wifi was barely off the ground for most consumers.
Media was something we extracted from the internet. Now the internet is something we have to extract ourselves from.
