On one hand, the devs need X sales before they would earn their bonus.
On the other, if they don’t make those sales it wouldn’t be hard to argue that the PR surrounding Krafton’s bullshit was the direct cause of not hitting their target, so they would be awarded punitive damages in their lawsuit.
Either way, I think the devs themselves will win.
What they are proposing isn’t even an actual DDOS. It’s essentially the “Reddit kiss of Death.” It also would be wholly ineffectual, since free accounts for AI bullshit impose a lot of restrictions and limitations that mean you’re not sucking up their bandwidth.
