    I just dont understand the point of a blockade to stop traffic from an area thats already had its traffic stopped? A couple ships have been allowed to go through the strait, but whats the effect of blocking those?

      The info you’re missing: Iran was permitting some ships through their blockade (like their allies). Trump didn’t like Iran having the power to decide who is allowed through, so he’s halting everyone.

      The two ships in this article wouldn’t have been stopped by the original blockade.
