Anyone else feel this image is off or is it just me?
The picture looks unusually HD, and the font looks like a common AI font. Seems like there actually is a particularly fat bear named Otis though, so idk. Maybe it’s a real, high quality image with an unfortunate font choice, maybe it’s a fake image inspired by the real bear, who knows.
Well, the only result I got in reverse image search is one guy on shitter. idk what that means.
Look at the rear leg on the left side of the photo, it’s curled in unnaturally. This might be slop.
True story, fake image. The claws aren’t even close to real.
While I don’t doubt the existence of the bear the image looks like AI generated. It’s too crisp and the bear looks too groomed and clean.
And still, he is smaller than your mom.

He’s dead by now. That big boy lived to be 28/29 years old, with a life expectancy of 25 years that’s pretty old for a bear. That’s a 90 year old human for comparison.
All that elevator money did him right.
Wow. Our guy looking a little beat around the edges, still hangin’ in.
Look out, Ursa Major, this guy is coming for your title. Gonna demote you to Ursa Medianus.

In Katmai National Park and Preserve, one bear has grown so large he’s become a global sensation. Otis, officially known as Bear 480, has been crowned the fattest bear in the wild after packing on hundreds of pounds for winter hibernation.
At an estimated 1,000 pounds, he dwarfs the average male brown bear, which usually weighs closer to 700 pounds. Each fall, his size makes him a frontrunner in the park’s popular Fat Bear Week contest, where the public votes on which bear has bulked up the most.
no he’s not
