  • That depends on a lot of factors as well, a lot of fast food isn’t made to order and some can be created ahead of time if you’re expecting a lot of orders to come in. Fries, burger patties, some other fried goods like chicken fingers can be held for a little while without them going bad. There’s always the chance that the people working the kitchen may have had the smaller order on hand but needed to make some fresh things for the larger order.

  • As someone who worked in an understaffed fast food restaurant for like 3 years… No, going inside doesn’t make your order faster. From my experience, orders get made in chronological order of when they were placed. You may be able to place your order quicker (if you’re lucky there’s enough staff to take an in-store order while there’s people in the drive through) but you will probably still wait about the same since the food can only be made so fast, and the few people have to splits their attention even more.

If it’s a normally staffed restaurant then you might have luck, but usually long wait times in the drive through aren’t because the drive through itself is slow… Excluding the random people who pull up with the good ol’, “can I get a uuuuuhhhhhhh…”

Real talk, is there some benefit to an analog clock that would prevent them from all being replaced by digital ones? Being able to know exactly the time in a moment’s glance seems better to me.

They’re certainly not better looking than a digital one, considering most of the ones used in schools are just the cheapest and most basic version they can get.

    Power requirements maybe? Longevity?

Dude what the fuck are you on about. Plenty of products have safety measures in place because we have federal systems to regulars them.

You can’t just cherry pick one example and then say America bad. What a fucking .ml tier take.

  • Windows 11 seems to be fine, despite everyone whining constantly.

The ads everyone cries about? Can be disabled with a single option.

    Slowness? Haven’t experienced it.

11 didn’t introduce anything, for me, that I couldn’t already do. Some of the desktop management features aren’t that bad and the UI is fine I guess. If you don’t like it, turns out it’s pretty easy to replace with a different shell.

Privacy concerns are pretty legitimate, but with about as much effort as getting a Linux distro set up and working you can lock that stuff down.

These people are clearly incapable of separating the joke from reality. Who cares what button is being pressed. The joke is the same even if you put some hieroglyphics in place of it.

Is this like an autism thing?

  • As all this unfolds, I am more drawn towards the opinion that I don’t care that much about the GN call out, because those things can be fixed. I just don’t care that much about tech entertainment being dry as bones to ensure accuracy, but am a lot more concerned about the posts from ex-employee Madison about how she was treated.

Sounds like they have made themselves a bit of a mini Blizzard culture. Crunch and sexism abound.
