        No, pollen is actually more like a separate generation of the plant, a (micro)gametophyte. They are whole organisms that produce sperm when certain conditions are met.

        So it’s a whole bunch of organisms just waiting to get sperm out, hanging out in your nose

          yeah technically animal sperm is “a whole separate generation” as well, just that that generation only produces single-celled organisms!
